Hi, I’m Grace
She | Her | Hers
It’s nice to meet you. Therapy can be one of the hardest and most rewarding experiences to engage in. Part of that experience is knowing a bit about, and trusting, the person you work with. Here is some information about me to help you determine whether we could be a good fit.
I am a clinical psychologist licensed in California and Washington. I work with adolescents, adults, and provide parent training for families. For over a decade, I have developed expertise in evidence based interventions working with individuals who have tried multiple therapies and have not found relief from their suffering.
Evidence based interventions mean there are a breadth of studies demonstrating these interventions have a good chance of addressing what you are hoping to get help with. I specialize in treating a variety of problems including emotion dysregulation, suicidality, self-harm, mood, obsessive compulsive disorder, navigating interpersonal stressors, trauma, and anxiety disorders.
I am board certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology and the DBT Linehan Board of Certification. I help train psychology interns at the University of Washington and am a national examiner for psychologists seeking board certification.
Providing gender affirming care and holding an actively anti-racist lens are important values that are incorporated as part of my work.

TEACHING & SUPERVISION
I believe that the clinician and client are a team of equals. The client is the expert in their life, and my job is to help you incorporate behavioral principles so that you can move closer towards your life worth living goals. I aim to be both warm and direct. My clinical passions include working collaboratively with individuals to cultivate more acceptance, self-compassion, and skills use to navigate life experiences.
Outside of the office, I love to travel, explore new restaurants, and practice principles of behaviorism with my dog, 顾家宝 (Gu Giā Bao).
